The gymnasium was filled with folks from various church's around Baldwin County...the food was delicious, the program was inspiring and God's generosity was flowing. Attending were, from left to right: Richard Dyke, Bob Chiplock, Patricia Chiplock, Sharon Dyke, Dianna Rogers, John Geist, Mario Delaosa, Fiona Geist, Earl Tilden, Rose Tilden, Sally Pratt, Bob Pratt, Dan Smith, Pat Beer and C.J. THE LAUGHTER STOLEN

We are a poorer nation truly, for the songs never written, nor lifted high by human voice.
We are a poorer nation still for the laughter stolen and giggles stifled.
And yes, we are a poorer nation for the wisdom left unuttered, undiscovered, perhaps forever lost.
Lacking Grace we are a disgraced nation.
We are a pitiful nation for the promise of youth laid to waste, and willfully discarded in the names of “convenience “and “expediency.”
These poor unfortunates, sacrificed in selfishness, were irreplaceable, their individuality precious and now known only by God.
Our national soul is tarnished, tainted, corrupted and decaying and the absolute evil that is abortion marches steadily on.
Please think about what we are doing………and pray……pray for Grace.

The Pro-Life committee of the Knights of Columbus at Sacred Heart Catholic Church presented to Monica Leftwich, Executive Director of Crossroads Pregnancy Center with a check for $2,400 collected during the Baby Bottle Boomerang fundraising drive. The baby bottles were distributed on Mother’s day and were collected on Father’s day. Grand Knight John Geist is shown here handing Ms. Leftwich the check as he commented…”this check, combined with the checks that were made out to the center represents a 50% increase over last years drive.
